No. Dockie Talkie works entirely offline using Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi. You don't need a cell signal, a router, or an internet connection of any kind.

Yes. The Apple Watch app lets you join rooms, see who's talking, adjust volume with the Digital Crown, and mute — all without taking out your iPhone.

Make sure both devices have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled. Being on the same Wi-Fi network improves discovery. Also check that Dockie Talkie has permission to use Local Network (Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network).

Yes. All audio is transmitted directly between devices on your local network using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework. Nothing is sent to our servers or stored anywhere.
